Destined!

Ok, so, it's now August and almost the end of Summer which, for me, is pretty exciting because.....that means that Fall will be here and THAT means that the new book in the series, House of Night is going to come out. October 25th! I'm so excited! If you go to their fan page, you can see the cover of the upcoming book. The last book was pretty shocking; Jack died. It was all so sudden that I was totally and completely in shock. We heard A LOT about Kalona and his favorited son, Rephaim. Neferet seems to becoming the only real bad guy but just when you think that's true, Dragon seems be on HER side. Are you serious?! How could he betrat Zoey and her gang like that?! Just because Stevie Rae is in love with Rephaim, the boy who is half bird and half boy AND who also killed Anastasia who was Dragon's lover. I mean, I kind of see where he's coming from because it would be hard to forgive someone who killed my beloved but now that Rephaim is no longer under Kalona's power and according to Kalona, no longer his son, I think it's only fair that Dragon gives Rephaim a chance to show that he's not all bad. There is some human goodness left in him.

                 Oh my goodness! This is so exciting! I just love this series and I CANNOT wait until October 25th! I wonder if Dragon will become Neferet's little puppet and Kalona just do his own thing. (whatever that may be) Also, I wonder what will become of  Birdboy and Stevie Rae.

My favorite new site is stumbleupon.com! It's so freakin' amazing and I love it! The site is very simple; it's a bunch of random (but awesome) things. You just press a button that says stumble and each time you press it you get something different. Anything you can think of, it's on this site. Check it out! Most likely, you won't get bored of it. Frustration!

So today was my family living project. Our group had to pick a topic and teach it to the class. we were going to be teachers for the period. i thought it would go really well since i had everything ready but when i tried to open my powerpoint, it wouldn't let me and so i had to go down to the library and print the slides off. it really was embarrassing because it looked like my group wasn't prepared. I mean, come on, i did 98% of the work anyways. i think i deserve something good. one of my group members, who's name i won't say , is really freakin bossy and yet they didn't even do most of the work! Are you serious?! You barely did anything and you're gonna sit there and try to boss me? Sorry, but that's not how it's going down. They just want everyody to do all the work so they can sit back and watch you. It's not just today that this person's been bothering me. It's like everyday. They always run their mouth and hate on other people just because they don't feel good about their life. Come on, get a life. Quit hatin' on people for some stupid reasons and atleast try to enjoy life. If you're gonna hate on everybody then you're not gonna get far in life and you'll be so miserable.
Anywho, enough ranting on and on about that person. In the end I think our project went ok but just not as well as I wanted it. I guess my day's going ok so far. I'm just glad that the project's done and I don't have to worry about it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love projects like that but not with people who don't want to help and who like to try to boss you around.
Oh well, life goes on. Time to finish my day. Peace! (:

Long Time No Post!

Like I said on my first blog post, it's been a long time since I've posted anything. This year is going to be a great year because lots of wonderful things are gonna happen. I'm gonna graduate is the main one. Lots of great movies are coming out this year. For instance, my favorite book series, House of Night, is going to release their first movie. Anywho, enough with the movies. Now, back to what I was saying; ok.... graduation....great movies... ahh yes, AFTER graduation. Well, let's see, I'm going to college but still undecided. I'm gonna look for a job. I know it sounds sad that I'm 18 and I still don't have a job but, well, I want to focus on school and graduating and plus how am I going to get there? I have no car and no money to get a car. However, my parents said they were going to get me one for a graduation present. Anyway, once I get a car and a job, I'll save up money to get an apartment. Then, once I do that I'll go to college. Probably something to do with computers but I don't know what. After I do all that, I think I'll just live my life.
But for right now, I'm just tryna take one day at a time.

Awakened!

Ok, so I've been reading this series called The House of Night and it's really amazing! ( and not to mention really addictive) Today the 8th book, Awakened, comes out and I'm really excited because I've been waiting for this day to come for months! Ya, I'm such a nerd but I just love reading because it takes me away from reality and into another world. Who doesn't want to escape reality sometimes? Anyway, this series is highly addictive and wayyyy better than Twilight. Ewww....I'm not even gonna tell you how much I hate Twilight. Let's just say that I'm definitely looking forward to the day they stop making the books and movies. And yes, I have read Twilight before and it sucked. I'm not gonna judge a book before I read it. I do have friends that like Twilight and I do respect that but I don't like it and that's my opinion so no hard feelings to all the Twilight fans out there. I just think that The House of Night series is way more interesting and action-packed to where you can't put the book down.
If you haven't read the series yet, give it a try and you might like it!
